We raise our dogs and our puppies with the best possible care and take pride in the dogs that we produce. These dogs are truly part of our family and we would love the opportunity to help you add to yours!
Puppies are born in our home. We do ENS training from days 3-16. This exposes your puppy to "good' stress. It was a program developed by the US Military. The AKC website has a great overview of the benefits of ENS training.
When our puppies are able to hear I play a loop of various noises for them throughout the day. Noises such as thunderstorms, fireworks, gun scenes from old western movies, as well as all the best country music from the 90's =)
They are weighed daily to track their growth and monitor their health. My children help socialize them from a young age and we spend a lot of one on one time with each individual puppy.
At three weeks of age a tray of alfalfa pellets is introduced the puppy pen. They learn quickly where to do their business. Within a few days they understand to not eliminate in the areas they eat and play in. The alfalfa pellets smell similar to grass and this method of training really helps future owners with potty training.
By 4 weeks they are moved to a bigger enclosure and given more toys for enrichment.
Puppies are handled every day by myself and my kids. They interact with our other dogs and our cat, Bindi! They explore the backyard as often as the weather allows. We expose them to as much new things as we can before they leave.
They are dewormed on a regular schedule and will receive a vet check and first immunization at 8 weeks old. Once they have had their first immunization they are ready to go to their new loving homes.
